    Virtual Course 2015

    Also in 2015, the Aachen-Laurensberger Rennverein e.V. is developing the animated course together with the Office for 3D-Visualisations MPLY from Aachen. From a rider's perspective, the website visitor will be able to experience the course, which has been developed by course designer Rüdiger Schwarz, online.

    That was the spectacular Opening Ceremony of the FEI European Championships Aachen 2015!

    • Grand Opening Ceremony with the Landgestütquadrille consisting of 64 stallions from all over Germany

    • Championships for German brood mares
    • Showjumping and riding competiton for three to five year old mares
    • Competition consists of two rounds

    Emotional Farewell to the Nations in the main stadium.

    The European Championships in town

    True to the slogan "Unsere EM" (Our Europen Championships), the city of Aachen is hosting a diverse cultural program. According to the city spokesman Bernd Büttgens: "The city of Aachen will literally roll out the red carpet". Varied Events will take place in the hirstorical city center, at Münsterplatz, Katschhof and Market. The market is planend to be a "bride" to the European Championships in Aachen Soers. Daily EC-talks and medal ceremonies are scheduled at this sight. A big wine festival will happen at Katschhof in first week and international music will follow up in second. At Münsterplatz the city is showing local artists of music. The program of "Aachen Em-Special" planed by the city is a nice addition to sport-program of European Chamionships.  Aachen is more than happy to welcome it's guests in August!
